About You.
Did you ever hear about the ship of thesus paradox? It goes something like this.
Let us say you are your flesh. You loose 30 to 40 thousand of them every minute from your skin alone. So, 3 years down the lane you know it isn't the same flesh. You know most of them are new.
Let us say you are your thoughts/conciousness. Being an intelligent being of whose thoughts keep changing and never has the same set of thoughts. Would they as whole make you? You were born with hardly any of those beliefs/thoughts you have today, remember?
Why do we live?
Being born in a world where most of the things we see have meaning, It would be common to assume that a life has a meaning too. If not we try to create one for it. But being the same logical human you were supposed to be you can opt between two things. Either it has a meaning or not. What are the odds of something billions of people have been searching for in since ages and never finding it and you finding it one odd day? You are just a small peck in this vast universe. Stop dreaming, son.
By beliving a more logical thing like life being pointless you would be left with few options
1. Suicide, which would as meaningless as life.
2. Distract yourself with things regularly creating a new random task often to prevent your self from trying finding a meaning for life and face the crisis.
3. Sit on your couch, keep drinking as every thing is pointless anyway, if you have enough money for that.
